OUR BARCELONA FLAT

Barcelona apartment with balcony and sea view

2 minutes from the beach in Barceloneta and right in the city.
Our 7 meter balcony turns east and has plenty of morning sun.

The apartment is on the 4th floor and has a 7 meter balcony with a sea view. If you walk two floors up, you will have a 90 degrees sea view to the ocean from the shared roof terrace. You can sit here sipping a drink watching the sunset over the roof tops and the mountains behind the city.

BARCELONETA

Barcelona apartment in Barceloneta

A closer look at the map

On the inside of the pensinsula is the harbour of Barcelona, on the outer side a long sandy beach.

The flat is situated at the red circle on the map, only 300 metres from the metro station.

The apartment is in a quiet street with very little traffic. The Barceloneta area has easy access to the beach, city centre, the Yachting Port, shops, restaurants and bars.

75 metres from the house the street opens to a square at the beach with palmtrees and loads of small bars and restaurants. Here you can have your morning swim or your afternoon drink. If you go left you are in the more family oriented part of the beach. If you go right you will find lots of young people chilling out on the beach and in the bars. Five to ten minutes further right you arrive at the gay beach and the nude beach. Above this area is the huge absolutely clean swim club of Barceloneta, with pools, showers and a large gym. A day card for the swim club is only 10 € but guests can only enter Monday-Friday.

1 minute from the apartment you find the central plaza of Barceloneta with shops and the market. Here you will find all that you need: green grocers, baker shops, butchers, grocery stores, cafees and restaurants.

The bus stop is only 75 metres from the front door with busses leaving for the city centre. The metro station is 5 minutes walk away.

The flat is only 20 minutes in a taxi from the airport of Barcelona (except in the rush hour) and it will cost you about 25 € to get there.
